This series of video tutorials provides demonstrations of commonly-used commands that will help you create a drawing from start to finish. View tutorials on working with commands, drawing objects, precision drawing and making modifications.

AutoCAD LT® 2009 software contains many new features to help increase your productivity. This series of videos demonstrates these new and enhanced tools.

The Menu Browser
The Menu Browser in AutoCAD LT 2009 software provides easy access to a variety of content. Commands are available from menus or through a search tool. You can also view recent and open drawings.

The Quick Access Toolbar
AutoCAD LT 2009 includes the Quick Access Toolbar as a place to find your most frequently-used commands, such as New and Open. You can also customise the Quick Access Toolbar with your favorite commands.

The Ribbon
The Ribbon is a collection of tabs and panels that give you easy access to commands. Tools are organised by task, and there are context-sensitive tabs for commands such as text and table editing.

The Status Bar
AutoCAD LT 2009 has enhanced the status bar, located at the bottom of the screen, with tools for controlling drafting and display options.

Quick Properties
The Quick Properties functionality in AutoCAD LT 2009 enables you to view and modify object properties when you need them without sacrificing screen real estate.

Quick View Layouts
Quick View Layouts provides a faster and more visual alternative to using the traditional model and layout tabs for switching between layouts within the current drawing.

Quick View Drawings
Quick View Drawings provides a faster and more visual alternative to using the Ctrl-Tab key combination or the Window menu for switching between open drawings.

Tooltips
In many places throughout AutoCAD LT 2009, you’ll find preview images and other information displayed as tooltips. These tooltips not only display the name of the tools, but they provide additional information and even graphics.

Layer Management
The Layer Properties Manager can now be kept open as you work in the drawing. Changes made there are instantly applied, without the need for an Apply button. Right-click menus include even more functionality to help you make the most of your screen real estate.
