Effective
facial animation is crucial for breathing life into
digital characters. In this MasterClass learn how to
leverage the advanced facial rigging features within
MotionBuilder to tackle one of the most challenging
aspects of creating believable digital characters. David
Coleman, CG Supervisor, has spent over ten
years creating digital characters and workflows at
Electronic Arts, and will present methods for building
facial animation rigs that are powerful, flexible and
animator-friendly. Attend this course to learn how
to transfer a character from Maya into MotionBuilder
and create a facial animation control rig; both blendshape
and joint deformation methods will be covered.
This
MotionBuilder course is suitable for technical directors
and animators with proficiency in either Autodesk Maya
or 3ds Max.
